Summer 2015

My Summer Reading Recap

Remember when I announced I would document my summer reading adventure?  I didn't set a goal for the number of books I wanted to consume over the summer, I just read. It so happens that I ended up finishing 40 books between June 13 and September 7.

Tomorrow begins the first day of the 2015-2016 school year. Tomorrow also brings an end to my summer reading. I started this blog with the intent to document the books I read over the summer, but it quickly evolved into more than just an archive of current reads. It is a place where I reflect on the way words shape my thinking, my feelings, and my overall well-being. It is a place where I share my passion for the written word with others. It is a place where I sell designs inspired by my favorite stories. It is a place that will continue to grow and develop with each new book I read over the next weeks, months, and years.
